Wild Hogs Hedgehog Rescue is a registered charity, and our trustees meet regularly throughout the year to oversee the organisation.

Rescue Management Team

Jo set up the rescue in 2010 and also started Gloucestershire Hedgehog Network, to link local wildlife rescues together. She has built the charity into a successful centre rehabilitating over 350 hedgehogs every year. Jo is also a trustee at Teckels Animal Sanctuaries and loves walking her two dogs.

Emily has been volunteering with WHHR since 2017 and is keen to know everything about hedgehogs. She is currently studying hedgehog parasitology for her PhD. She also runs Wild Stroud gardening workshops to help make gardens better for wildlife.

Dee joined WHHR in 2020 and has been volunteering regularly ever since. She is dedicated to animals, caring for her many tortoises as well as hedgehogs visiting her garden. Dee is a celebrant and regularly conducts life event ceremonies. She also enjoys spending time on her canal boat.
